I got this flannelboard from Confessions of a Homeschooler — which also has a template for you to download!
I used this in an outreach Thanksgiving storytime last year. I had a great time with this group and asked them to help me match turkey’s feathers to his buttons. This lead to great conversations about color and we did this several times so each child could button the feather to turkey.
I’m not sure if I’ll be using this flannelboard again any time soon because I do not do holiday storytimes unless it’s an outreach request. But maybe sooner than I think!
