Today’s Flannel Friday came way of a Pinterest pin, which I free-cut out, just by looking at the picture.
I used these finger puppets with my Owls storytime this past year. I did do the traditional “Two Little Blackbirds,” just modified. Super simple, very pleasing for the kids!

Cute owls! Thanks for sharing them with us. The rest of the Roundup will be posted at http://loonsandquines.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/flannel-friday-roundup-7th-september.html as soon as it’s ready!
You’re welcome! And thank you for hosting the round-up!
Ahhh, very cute idea! And of course now it occurs to me that you could do a lot of “Two Little Blackbirds” spinoffs. Why did that never occur to me before?!
It is one of those rhymes I keep falling back on because it’s SO EASY to change the animal to fit the theme. Also, my regulars have learned it by now and will say it with me — that took me a long time to get them comfortable with a rhyme!
